Joy Apple has been singing and playing music in churches since she was eleven years old. She was a church music leader for over 35 years. In addition to playing music at church, Joy has played and sung classical, rock, popular, folk, blues, jazz, children's, and meditative music in several music groups and as a soloist. She also provides music for retreats, inspirational speakers, weddings, baptisms, and other events in and around Davis, California and the San Francisco Bay Area. Joy has recorded two albums: "Gift of Life," a vocal album with guitar, flute, bass and percussion, and one album of improvisational flute music. Joy is a full-time grandma now, and plays music and sings on the side. She is married and has three adult children and two grandchildren.
